Position.

This studio series is a minimalist exploration of form, furniture, and light. The project centers around the dialogue between a model wearing a relaxed, modern suit and a flat, graphic wooden chair. The objective was to create a strong visual harmony where the human silhouette and the sharp angles of the design object merge into a cohesive geometric composition.

The series thrives on a high-contrast mix of rich, warm brown tones and bold black-and-white imagery, proving that the concept functions powerfully in both color worlds. By working with precise light placement, I utilized both the shadow cast by the chair and the model’s poses to create clean, intersecting lines within the frame. While a stylist provided the contemporary look, my focus as the photographer and set designer was to engineer a visual space where clothing, material, and shadow come together to form an edgy, sophisticated editorial.
